First and foremost Michael, Happy Birthday. The wisdom you've acquired in your 56 trips around the sun is quite obvious. :)
Perhaps the last 3 have proven to be the most "enlightening" yet all the others serve a very important and significant purpose as well. As you say "They've served to make you what you are" which, if I'm understanding correctly is a place of gratitude...regardless.
That's when and where our lives really begin to transform in a profoundly powerful and what most perceive as being an irrational and illogical kind of way without question.
